Chakswari is a city of Mirpur district. It is a Tehsil which is composed of approximately 25 union councils including The New Town of Islamgarh. It is located 43 km from Mirpur city .It’s a rural fertilize area and not such a developed area. Inhabitants of chakswari speaks Pothwari language. Mostly people’s profession in Chakswari is farming due to the landscape. A number of Inhabitants of chakswari migrated to the UK between the 1950’s to 1980’s. People living abroad support their family through foreign remittances. There are many large bungalows that can be seen in chakswari. There are no such tourist places to visit in chakswari as it is mostly residential. Apart from that, the amazing scenery can be seen from everywhere in chakswari during the winter, when the water level is extremely low, there is an amazing view of the country side. Chakswari overall is a beautiful town within Mirpur with very iconic views of the countryside.
